Fans attending the game between New England and Miami at Dolphin Stadium were treated to an air show Sunday afternoon. Instead of being treated to an aerial show by the Blue Angels of the US Naval Flight Squadron, they witness an air explosion by Patriots QB Tom Brady.

Brady threw for 354 yards and six touchdowns as the Patriots pummeled the hapless Dolphins, 49-28, to remained unbeaten. Brady’s six TD passed give him 27 on the season and puts him in good position to break Peyton Manning’s single season TD passing record of 49. Manning had 22 TD passes at this time during his record breaking season.

The Patriots led 42-7 at halftime as they won their first seven games of the season for the first time in the franchise history.

Brady came out on fire as he completed his first 11 passes for 220 yards including a pair of long TD passes to Randy Moss. Brady also connected on a pair of TD passes to Wes Walker covering 14 and 16 yards. Donte Stallworth and Kyle Brady collected the other two TD passes.

The Dolphis fell to 0-7 for the first time in franchise history. Miami gets its next chance to break into the win column as they play the New York Giants in a regular season game in London. It will be the first regular season game to be played in Europe in the history of the NFL.

If things couldn’t get worse for the Dolphins, they lost running back Ronnie Brown to a knee injury in the third quarter. Brown, who came into the game leading the NFL in yards from scrimmage, is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam Monday.

The Patriots matched an NFL record by winning their first seven games of the season by at least 17 points. Brady was pulled from the game in the 4th quarter but re-entered a series later after backup QB Matt Cassel was picked of by Jason Taylor. Taylor returned the interception 36 yards for a touchdown to cut the lead to 41-21.

Brady, who had removed most of his game gear, glance over at head coach Bill Belichick, who signaled to Brady that he was going back in the game.

Belichick reasoning for putting Brady back in the game was that if they turned the ball over one more time it could be a 14 point game.

Was Belichick even watching the game. The Dolphins offense is absolutely horrible. The only reason the Dolphins scored 28 points was because the Patriots where playing a soft defense the second half of the game.

It was just another classless move on the New England head coach. Not only was he caught cheating this season, now he takes delight in running up the scores on his opponents.

The Patriots are the superior team this year in the NFL but sooner or later their tatics will catch up with them. Hopefully it is in Indianapolis on November 4th when the Colts host the Patriots in an AFC showdown that will all but determine home-field advantage for the playoffs.
