The Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys are the three unbeaten teams after week 5 in the National Football league and remain in the top three spots in this week powerpoll on Hookscenter.

Indianapolis minus six starters had no problems with the first place Buccanneers in the Dome this weekend. Indianapolis can plug anyone into a starting role and have those players produce. Colts running back Kenton Keith, filling in for the injured Joseph Addai, rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries against Tampa Bay in his first NFL start Sunday.

New England pounded the Browns at home. Tom Brady had another great day tossing three touchdown passes as the Patriots scored at will against the Browns. Brady tied an NFL record with at least three touchdowns in each of his first five games. New England became the fourth team to start a season with five wins by at least 17 points.

Dallas snuck by the Bills Monday night in Buffalo. The Cowboys overcame a francise tying five interceptions by Tony Romo as they recovered an onside kick with 20 seconds left in the game and moved into field goal position to give Nick Folk a chance to win the game. Folk delivered from 53 yards as time expired.

Three teams are still winless after five weeks. St. Louis and Miami are 0-5 and New Orleans is 0-4.

Kris Brown kicked five field goals, including a 57 yarder with one second left, to give Houston the win over Miami. The hapless Dolphins have lost eight straight games dating back to last year.

John Kasay rammed home a 52 yard field goal as time expired to lead Carolina to a 16-13 win over New Orleans, The Saints, tabbed as Super Bowl contenders by several supposedly experts, will have to pull off a miracle to make the playoffs. The 1992 San Diego Chargers are the only team to make the playoffs since the league went to a 12 team playoff system after starting the season 0-4.

Kurt Warner lead Arizona on three touchdown drive after starter Matt Leinhart went down with a collarbone injury as the Cardinals beat the Rams 34-31 in a game that was totally dominated by the Cardinals. The Rams got a garbage touchdown late and two point conversion to make the game seem closer than it was.
