NFL PREDICTIONS WEEK 16 AGAINST THE SPREAD.

Hookscenter (HC) rebounded with authority as the Steelers were money as they routed the St. Louis Rams, 41-24, on Thursday Night Football. HC suffered thru its first losing week in over a month last week as your friendly NFL analyst finished week 15 with a 7-9 record. The week 15 picks were about as ugly as [...]

STEELERS CLINCH PLAYOFF BERTH THURSDAY.

Hookscenter (HC) took a beating last weekend in handicapping the games from week 15. HC looks to bounce back this week and it all starts Thursday with the Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5) traveling to St. Louis (3-11) to take on the Rams. One month ago the Steelers where in a battle with Indianapolis for a first [...]

NFL POWER RANKINGS – WEEK 15

The Big Four in the National Football league might be adding a team to its sorority next week. The Jacksonville Jaguars are knocking on the door.  The Jaguars have quietly compiled a 10-4 record. They are in control to lock down the number 5 seed in the AFC playoffs. Jacksonville hosts Oakland (4-10) this weekend before they go on [...]

THE CHICAGO BEARS STILL SUCK.

One year after the Chicago Bears made a miraculous run to the Super Bowl, they returned to normal again. Chicago was eliminated from playoff contention Monday night as they lost to the Minnesota Vikings, 20-13, in the MetroDome.  Chicago (5-9) was a pre-season pick by many to return to the Super Bowl again in February in Phoenix. [...]

After watching the Dallas Cowboys play like the Miami Dolphins yesterday in a 10-6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, I have come to a couple of conclusions regarding Jerry Jones boys in the Lone Star state. DOLPHINS WIN IN OVERTIME TO AVOID FUTILITY MARK.

The Miami Dolphins beat the Baltimore Ravens, 22-16, in overtime Sunday afternoon at Dolphin Stadium. The win was the first of the season for Miami (1-13) and it helped the Dolphins avoid becoming the first 0-16 team in NFL history. This game was ugly as advertised but it was intriguing enough to keep me interested throughout the game. [...]

NFL PREDICTIONS WEEK 15 AGAINST THE SPREAD.

Hookscenter (HC) looks to keep the ball rolling this weekend even though the 5 Star Pick lost last week ending a run of nine consecutive wins. The 4 Star Picks were perfect at 3-0 and HC finished the week with a winning 9-7 record overall. Once again the word for the week in the National Football League [...]

NFL POWER RANKINGS – WEEK 14

The top four teams in last week’s Hookscenter Power Poll all held their positions after wins last weekend. New England, Indianapolis, and Green Bay cruised to easy victories while Dallas was handed an early Christmas gift from the Lions as they rallied to win, 28-27, in Detroit. The National Football League is usually very exciting in the month of December [...]
